Her Experiences

Miss Rainbow loves water more than anyone I've ever known. She brings her Aqua Blaster wherever she goes and her go-to catchphrase is, "Would you like to cool down?" Everyone loves gathering around Miss Rainbow in the hot season to feel the chill from her Aqua Blaster. Thanks to her, all fire hazards on the Colossus are stifled in the cradle and there have been fewer and fewer people who get angry and start fights. As for troublesome things... Well, her water tank is always leaking and she doesn't seem to do a good job of patching it. Therefore, %s has to dispatch a Firefly to follow her and wipe the water with a duster cloth... As a result, anywhere Rainbow passes through ends up getting cleaned. —Vice

Her Story (I)

Hey, %s! Wanna cool down?
You're welcome. I practically grew up in water and I feel uncomfortable if I don't spray myself with water every once in a while. I started going out fishing with my parents as far back as my memories go. Sigh... I suddenly remember this game I loved to play back in those days... On the tranquil sea, I would roll down from the deck and swim along the boat, pretending I was a fat fish. My clumsy imitation would make my parents laugh every time. Well. Maybe my acting talent had started to show from then! What? You can't imagine what a fat fish looks like? It's very hard to describe in words. Next time I'll show it to you when we go out to sea!

Her Story (II)

My dad made me a water gun when I was young to pacify me when I returned to the land, or I'd always run back to the sea. To my surprise, I made water gun fighting popular among the children in my village. However... When facing Eclipsites, those small water guns couldn't do anything at all.
That was the last fishing expedition I went on with my parents. Before our boat pulled in to shore, my dad had already sensed that something was off. All the boats were sailing towards the sea despite the lighting and thunder. My dad quickly turned the boat and tried to sail back to the middle of the sea... Even I knew that it was a bad idea to go back out to sea when a storm loomed overhead. Before I could ask him anything though, I looked towards the land and saw some of the children I knew shooting at a bunch of dark monsters with their water guns... A second later, my mother put her hands over my eyes.

Her Story (III)

When I opened my eyes again, the sea had lost its fury from the night before and was serene once again. The only signs of the horrors we'd experienced were the scars on our boat. Very few villages escaped from the Eclipsites and the storm and my dad was sucked into a black vortex when he tried to save a villager in the water. As the sun shone overhead, my mother patted me on the head and told me that he had simply been subjected to a fisherman's fate. Those who take things from the sea will one day give their lives back to the sea. I couldn't understand my mom's words then, but I vaguely felt that... we were fortunate to have not died in the hands of the Eclipsites.
Sometime later, my mother also returned her life to the sea, due to injuries she'd sustained. The plank and fishing rod on the boat became my closest friends. We drifted at sea for a very long time... until I met an old man sailing by himself.

Her Story (IV)

The old man took me to a very luxurious boat. That's right. It was the Emerald! I must admit that the village I lived in was not even as big as this boat! I always think that things would've been different if all the villagers could've boarded the Emerald to avoid the Darkover Crisis... I begged my savior, the old captain of the circus to let me stay. He was more than willing to let me stay, but he insisted on making me learn his magic tricks. Sigh, compared with learning magic tricks, I preferred watching the marine engineer operating those magical machineries in the depths of the cabin.
The old captain probably saw through me, because he stopped forcing me to learn magic eventually. But I wasn't a freeloader. I did all the odd jobs I could on the boat. Plus, the marine engineer finally agreed to take me as his disciple after I wore him down! Although he said that my skills could do with some improvement, I was more than capable of repairing the Aqua Blaster. By the way, can I repair your Colossus if something's wrong with it?
Don't hesitate to ask!
