Her Experiences

Since Jakine arrived, the Colossus has become livelier than ever. She always seems to come up with some excuse to hold a party, like free divination events, storytelling competitions under the stars, artwork award ceremonies, and even a Cute Critter Tail-Wagging Tournament... Basically, she makes sure there's always something going on around here, and that whatever you're into, there'll always be some event to tickle your fancy. I actually won first prize in one of her competitions! Wahahaha! The prize was a free divination from Jakine—she predicted that there would be a lollipop waiting for me in a flowery teapot in the Cafe. I headed over to the Cafe, and it was really there! I'm guessing she must've set the whole thing up, but anyway, I stuck it in my mouth on the spot and enjoyed every last bit of it! Yeah, I won the storytelling competition. Huh? Is that really so hard to believe? Fine then, it's time to get serious—I signed up for the Cute Critter Tail-Wagging Tournament!

Her Story (I)

Why am I always holding this divination book? Because my mom left it to me. That's right, my mom, Boaz, was a fortune teller too. I'd even go so far as to say she was the most powerful fortune teller in Northland! She could do this... and that... Anyway, every page in this divination book is filled with the achievements of her research. My mom traveled all over Astra, but ultimately chose to settle down in Northland, as that's where Aurorians originated, so I ended up being born there! When I was a kid, I always thought my mom was so mysterious. Most of the time, she was busy in her divination room and didn't even have time to teach me her skills, and there was one time she even left for ages. Hmm... I really wish she could've spent some more time with me. Only later did I find out that my mom was working on a super amazing discovery back then! She discovered the secret of Lake Mirror Water!

Her Story (II)

Over ten years ago, Northland resumed communications with Lumopolis and the Queen of the North sent envoys to deliver gifts, one of which was a crystal ball. This was no ordinary crystal ball—it was a crystal ball with divination power, made from Lake Mirror's water, the product of Mom's research. Of course, Mom delivered it to Lumopolis in person. What? I know, she was awesome, right? But as powerful as she was, Mom accidentally injured her face in a divination experiment and started wearing a veil. She even wore it around me... After this, she began exploring the secrets of the most powerful Luminatics all by herself. I heard from my father that she found a secluded place to live, somewhere in a frozen forest, and no matter how much he tried persuading her, she refused to return, leaving only this divination book for me to remember her by. Dad just couldn't understand why she'd do such a thing, so he left Northland. But I completely understood what Mom was thinking—in order to follow her dreams, she had to give up something in exchange.

Her Story (III)

Huh? You know Master Jeriah too? Although we haven't seen each other in such a long time, Jeriah will always be my master. You think my little snake Whisper looks a lot like Jeriah's Sacred Python, don't you? Uh... You don't?! You asked Master Jeriah and she said she doesn't remember me? Wow... That sounds just like her—she's so laid-back and awesome, she's probably got much more important things on her mind! Hehe, that's okay. Even though she doesn't remember me anymore, I still consider her to be one of my major role models! How long did I study under her? When I was twelve years old, we spent a whole afternoon chatting together! Master was traveling around Northland at the time, and we happened to meet by chance. She told me all about so many of her experiences... She's so free and never stops moving, just like the wind! I wish I could be more like her!

Her Story (IV)

I live in the Winter Palace now. Queen Bethlehem heard there was a girl with a divination book in Wonder Village, and after she found out I was Boaz's daughter, she invited me to live there with her. A lot of the kids in the Winter Palace are in a similar situation to me, so living there is much more fun than when I was living all alone. Also, the queen arranged for Novio to train me in Luminatics, but I still prefer studying this divination book in private. The book says that the mysteries of Luminatics can be explored in various parts of Northland, such as Lake Mirror, Northland Pine, and World's Spine... I always used to sneak out to explore on my own, constantly worrying that Novio and the queen would punish me if they found out, but I later learned that they had known all along, but just never told me off. In fact, Queen Bethlehem even said she could arrange for some guards to accompany me, as she was worried about me being safe out there, but it'd be weird being followed around by those guys, so I told her not to bother. The queen always treats us with respect and consideration, and I really hope I can become as strong as her someday... that way I'll never ever need anyone to protect me!
