His Experiences
Schwartz is a man with a powerful background.
Lumopolis is a city that is built on Azurite, just like the Colossus, and the Schwartz Family is respected by the masses as the ruler of this city. But as they say, it's lonely at the top, and we've heard many rumors about the Schwartz Family. Moreover, the peace of Lumopolis isn't safeguarded by those soldiers in shiny armor but by its ability to soar into the sky. Therefore, Lumopolis is sensitive to anything that can fly. That explains why Schwartz tried everything he could to visit here... After all, the ruler of Lumopolis almost never leaves the city, but he actually came to our Colossus as a guest. The reason he gave for the visit was to improve our relationship... Say, doesn't he realize how obvious that reason is?
Fortunately, we are currently not Lumopolis' enemy because the Eclipsites threaten all Aurorians. So, regardless of what Schwartz is planning, the doors of the Colossus will temporarily open for him. After all, we might need to employ his help sometime.
—Vice.

His Story (I)
Are you the temporary master of the Colossus? Good, young and promising. I assume you already know my identity. I am Duke Schwartz, the governor of Lumopolis.
The ancient Aurorians discovered an island that could only be called a miracle on the chaotic continent. They built Lumopolis with their own hands and their faith constantly explored various paths of development and made different classes assume different responsibilities. They competed against one another to further their interests, almost tearing the city apart, and suffered huge losses when they were ravaged by the Eclipsites... Order has now returned to Lumopolis, but a new crisis looms on the horizon.
What I want to tell you is that the ancestors of the Schwartz Family experienced all the history of Lumopolis that I have just shared with you. I am the heir to their beliefs, as well as the governor of the city. The new master of the Colossus, what you need to know is that I am here to see what you will bring to Lumopolis and this continent...

His Story (II)
Lumopolis was built to uphold order, but the order can also become obsolete and tainted. According to the records of the establishment of Lumopolis, the nobles once wanted to expand the city's territory and conquer the surrounding lands. But as time passed, they lost themselves in the hierarchy brought about by order, while their conservatism made them old men. These seemed to be indications of the future of Lumopolis... When the first Darkover Crisis happened, the Elder Council and Dawn Academy were ravaged by the Eclipsites. It was until then did they finally realize that they needed a more clear-minded governor to maintain the order of Lumopolis.
However, in just more than ten years since the crisis, they have already forgotten about their greatest enemy—the Eclipsites. They have also forgotten their responsibilities because they are too busy blindly protecting their positions... They have forgotten that it is our people who support the continued existence of Lumopolis. That is the greatest danger and the very thing I worry about.

His Story (III)
Lumopolis already faces difficulties from the inside and the outside. I don't want to make any excuses for my negligence as the City Lord.
Lumopolis suffered heavy losses after that war, and my heart still aches for the countless sacrifices caused by the war.
However, some nobles are intoxicated by their luxurious life and can't wake up to reality. They should know that the common people are the core of Lumopolis. They have forgotten their duties and only remember the temporary extravagance brought by their status. My opposition can only curb their behaviors temporarily out of fear, but this is not a long-term solution.
I am grateful to the Queen who rules that frozen land. She sent me an envoy representing a contract in the critical moment, which means that I have the support of Northland. There is no doubt that the Queen has extraordinary judgment, amazing decision-making ability, and also taught Carleen well. Therefore, I look forward to a city burgeoning with changes.

His Story (IV)
I once experienced a stable and happy life for several years. That was when I still lived with my wife and daughters. During those years, Lumopolis was going through a time of unprecedented stability and fresh power.
As the governor of Lumopolis, I loved this city as deeply as I loved my wife. Young navigator, I don't think you understand. I have guarded this city for decades, and I have sworn by my family that Lumopolis will always be blessed by the Aurora. My conscience has been clear for these few decades.
The only thing I feel guilty about is my inability to protect the peace of my own family despite having such power.
I don't know what to do anymore. Even Carleen is unhappy with me... As someone who can control this Colossus, can you, if it's possible, share your insights with me?
