Her Experiences

Fia was talking to the air when I first met her. I was confused by her behavior and rubbed my eyes to check that there was indeed no one else there. I got worried and approached her, trying to ask her what was happening. Fia shouted at me to "Freeze!", which made me question why she'd be so rude. While thinking that, I decided to ignore her warning and keep moving... To my surprise, she then threw herself towards the spot on the ground I was about to step on with her body stooped as if she was protecting something. Then she let out a sigh of relief and exclaimed, "Luckily, it's okay." Pointing at the floor, she continued, "This is a Glooey, a transparent wondrous beast. It is severely dehydrated and it would've died if you'd stepped on it!" I took a good look and saw a lump of something shiny that I can only compare to a water stain. So I quickly apologized to Fia, and she replied bashfully, "Tch, this is what extrozoologists do."
Well... I shall withdraw my words from earlier. Fia is in fact a very cute and kindhearted girl. —Vice

Her Story (I)

%s! How come you don't have a copy of "1,001 Fantastical Creatures" on your Colossus? The great work of my master Vic.
But then lo and behold. As I was searching the Colossus, I found three dehydrated Glooeys... and one Peko Rabbit stealing your food. Eh-hem. It's wrong to steal food, but it's your fault for not discovering them in the first place. Letting wondrous beasts live in an unsuitable environment is in fact harming them! This was mentioned several times in "1,001 Fantastical Creatures." How do I know? Hmph, I've been reading this book since I could read, and I can even recite the whole thing backwards. What? You want to hear it? How about... Buying a copy and placing it on the Colossus for everyone to read? I can even get my master sign it for you!

Her Story (II)

Although the book "1,001 Fantastical Creatures" still has many imperfections, it's more than enough to be informative for the general public. You can trust me because that's how I learned how to communicate with animals. Although I haven't met anyone else who became an expert in this field by self-learning, I suggest you to give it a try. Maybe you also have the potential to be an extrozoologist. Don't be afraid. I can be your master. I promise you that I'll be much more reliable to you than my master Vic is to me!
Ugh, just speaking of him gives me a migraine. Before I met him in person, I'd always pictured the author of "1,001 Fantastical Creatures" as a hotblooded young scholar who was resolute and brave... I was always hoping to meet him and save more wondrous beasts with him. I ended up leaving my parents a note and going to find Vic on my own after saving enough pocket money.

Her Story (III)

It wasn't easy to find someone living in the forest, and even I, someone well-versed in wilderness survival, wasted many days on the task. But those days weren't in vain. I got to see some of the animals that dwelled in the depths of the woods for the first time, and I also saved this old man lying on the floor, starving to death... I found out later that this slovenly middle-aged man was Vic, the man I had been trying to find! When I learned that the reason Vic had collapsed on the ground was because he was wasted from drinking too much liquor, I all but gave up on my fantasies and decided to find and rescue wondrous beasts on my own.
But my parents managed to find me somehow and they even forced me to apologize to Vic. Just ugh! I had no idea what they were thinking. I saved the man's life! Vic acted all smug and fake, saying that it was fine, and he added that he could take me on as an apprentice if I wanted. I pouted and told him that I needed to think about it. He then laughed and gave me a creature I had never seen before—Kyllo.

Her Story (IV)

Kyllo and I soon became very close friends. It looks very strange and has a unique way of communication that is different from all other wondrous beasts. Often, I can't understand it at all. This fact was what forced me to find Vic and accept him as my master... Why are you laughing? Anyway, even though he looks careless and lackluster, trust me, he's serious when the occasion calls for it. Otherwise he'd never have been able to write such an outstanding book. Eh-hem. I'll write a better book and become a greater extrozoologist than him one day!
Why am I so confident? Well... I guess it's because I haven't run into any competition. Oh wait, I almost forgot: I also have a senior disciple called Shira! My master never introduced her to me though. Ah... Is it possible that Master has a ton of disciples out there? Wait, that's a crisis! No more chatting. I need to go observe the habits of wondrous beasts out in the wild...
