Her Experiences

I was fast asleep one night when all of a sudden I heard the sound of rapid typing on a keyboard from outside my room. It almost sounded violent, so I ran out to take a look. That's when I saw a red-haired woman sitting cross-legged on the Colossus, scanning it with a strange device in one hand while typing furiously with the other. The light from her screen flickered on her glasses as she talked excitedly to herself. I couldn't understand a word she was saying. When I tried to approach her... The thing on her neck suddenly attacked me!
When she noticed me, she stood up and stretched before introducing herself. She said that her name was Algol and that %s had invited her aboard to study the Colossus up close.
Algol, one of the greatest scientists throughout the entire Illumina Federation! This famous researcher patted me on the shoulder and thanked me for reminding her to stand up. She said sitting cross-legged and staring at a screen for too long is bad for a person's pelvis, lumbar, and cervical vertebrae. Before leaving, she gave me one last bit of advice: "As long as you get medical exams frequently enough, no illness will ever catch up to you!" After that, she just walked away...

Her Story (I)

You want to know about my childhood? I'd be happy to share! "Small talk" like this causes our brains to release feel-good hormones, which are great for maintaining our physical and emotional health. To be honest, lots of people are interested in my childhood because they want to know how I ended up the way I am today. But don't worry, I know that's not why you're asking!
As you can probably guess, I wasn't the most popular girl in school when I was a kid. Children generally rely on intuition to judge right from wrong. However, the most effective ways of doing things are often counter-intuitive. For that reason, I was seen as an outcast by my classmates. One time, my classmates laid a trap for me in our classroom. As soon as I walked through the door, I got drenched in ink! What happened next? Well naturally, I got my revenge. My calculations told me that if I showed them mercy, they would only cause more problems for me in the future.
By the way, the ink that they used was entirely water-soluble, so washing it off was a breeze! Unfortunately for them, I wasn't dumb enough to use the same kind of ink.

Her Story (II)

My parents are both good people... Good, normal people. I mean that in the best way. When some parents realize how talented their children are, they devote so much to cultivating their talents that they eventually ruin the lives of an entire family. In that respect, I'm very grateful for how my parents raised me. They didn't give up their lives for my sake or treat me like someone who needed to be set apart from the rest of the world. If anything, they were worried about me. That's why they encouraged me to hang out with other kids and do stuff like play ball... Can you believe that? When I saw them kick the ball into the air, I knew exactly how to kick it back using the perfect angle and amount of strength. All that was left for me was to train my muscles and make my calculations a reality. Unfortunately, I didn't derive much pleasure from this kind of game. Because in the end... The ball hit me in the face and broke my glasses. Hey, no laughing! I'm way stronger than I used to be, you know! All of my physical examination results say so!

Her Story (III)

Huh? Why do you look so appalled...? Oh, you're worried about Bool hitting me? Hahaha, don't be! This rhythmic, little "massage" is just Bool's way of communicating with me! A slight bruise just means "Good morning," while a full subcutaneous hematoma means "Look over there!" A broken clavicle, however, means that there's danger nearby! Ah, I miss those good old days! In order to properly interpret Bool's messages, I had to train my body to be five times as strong as it used to be! Don't worry. Bool's gotten a lot better at communicating than before. See? When it turns into a period, it means it's speechless. And when it turns into a question mark, it means that it doesn't like what you said just now. Now, it has turned into an exclamation mark, that means... You'd better start running!

Her Story (IV)

You think Bool's like my pet? Hmm... You're not wrong, I suppose. It's a lot like those stories, where a loved and sheltered child takes in a stray puppy... Bool relies on me, and I had to study its habits in order to properly train it and care for it... As a result, I found a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment as a person... Hahaha! I guess "raising" Bool really is like that! The only difference is that I would lose my patience really quickly with a puppy. There are countless people in the world who could take care of a dog, but I'm the only one who can upgrade Bool's systems. Whenever I unravel one of his mysteries, it feels like the world is responding to my knowledge. When that happens, I feel as though I'm communicating with the laws that govern all of existence! Ah, I couldn't imagine how lonely I'd be without Bool! Huh? You say I sound just like any other pet owner? Hahaha, well, I guess you're right!
