More details here Doomsday Chronicles
The Doomsday Chronicles is a compilation of written records said to be from the ancient civilizations that inhabited the periphery of Northland. After it was originally unearthed, researchers concluded that the extensive damage to the records was deliberate, and not the result of the passage of time. Fortunately, several passages in the tome were in relatively complete condition. The fragmented passages seem to prophesize an apocalyptic catastrophe...

A fragment of the book entitled "Before the Darkness Fell." The missing parts of the passage show clear signs of being erased.
The Creator of the world
Decided to begin anew
And so, a terrible storm began to cleanse the land
The light of the moon was extinguished
He announced the arrival of the Eclipse to the world
He traveled between light and dark for two days, and created his messengers
Lastly, he bade the sun shine its light on the world below
With searing-hot magma
He rid the world of all living creatures that might resist him

Before the Darkness fell
A person once asked,
"What was the purpose of this dream at its inception?"
And a Consciousness answered,
"To allow eternity to return to the heavens.
To reach the other side.
To advance."
Another asked,
"What is the purpose we will find at the end of this maze?"
And the Consciousness answered,
"To know all.
To remove all obstacles.
To merge."
And then, he made his will known
"Advance. Advance without pause.
Surpass. Surpass without hesitation."
At this time
A Follower said,
"We shall likely meet our demise here."
And so, the Consciousness set about moving the immense, celestial bodies
And shattered the most absolute of principles
For none but it could do so, with unwavering determination
It decided to travel far beyond the heavens
To see the eyes of the abyss
And thus, did Believers appear
They execute their orders
To abolish
To forbid
To renew
To let all fall to ruin
To be as the end of days
To let the Darkness fall
Decided to begin anew
And so, a terrible storm began to cleanse the land
The light of the moon was extinguished
He announced the arrival of the Eclipse to the world

Hymn of the Believer

Researchers agree that this passage was not written by the same ancient authors as the rest of the passages, but by an author of more recent times. To this day, despite being a part of the Doomsday Chronicles, people still cannot draw any relationship between it and the end of days.
In the beginning, he will answer the questions that weigh on your mind.
When you obsess over freedom, he will tell you:
"Emotion and obsession are the root of your troubles. Do away with them, and you shall come closer to freedom."
When you are unsure of how to proceed, he will tell you:
"Adversity is necessary for advancement. Only through accepting and enduring adversity, will you grow stronger by the day, and walk along the right path."
Soon, he begins to show us how to become a proper person:
"To understand someone, one need only observe whether or not that person's actions and motives are aligned. Then, one can judge the sincerity of that person."
"The more effort you put into understanding the minds of others, the less effort you have to spend on improving yourself. Do you understand?"
He begins to act as our teacher, and shares his wisdom:
"Those who do not bathe, will smell of nothing when the fire is low. Those who sacrifice nothing and who learn no skills, though they may appear virtuous to some, will gradually lose the scent of fire over time."
"Jealousy will add nothing of substance to your life, nor will it lessen the gap between you and others."
He begins to shape us into heroes:
"Rather than dwelling on the fact of your defeat, take it in stride as a person of courage would."
He begins to ponder:
"Express your persistence through humility, add a subtle hint of tragedy, and others will easily accept it."
"All groups possess a certain amount of life, but not all groups understand, much less protect, that which constitutes their lives. Those lives that understand this principle are consequently tormented by it."
Then, he begins to preach:
"The living possess the will of God and his blessings, both of which should be cherished and protected accordingly."
"'Emotions are neither public or private. There are no rules or norms for them.' This is the type of mentality that the individual seeks for and clings to until death."
"But through the collection of individual wills into a group mentality, we can accommodate even greater aspirations."
He begins to blame us:
"Would you fill your drinking bottle with sand? Then why would you fill your mind with mundane thoughts?"
He begins to entice us:
"This is what you should aspire to achieve."
He begins to represent:
"Your insights shall become my thoughts. Your aspirations shall be directed here, and become both the foundation and the momentum for the realization of your ideals."
He represents reality, the pinnacle of truth and wisdom.
But in the end, he gave up on his dialogues with people and chose to give his orders in a new language.
It is a language that comes from the people, but not for the people.
It is an objective language created to liberate us from the shackles of subjectivity...

Prophecy of the Forerunner
After completing the Dispatch Quest, you will have a chance to discover this book.
This fragment is missing part of its first half. Researchers speculate that the "they" mentioned in the passage references those who lived before the war, and "we" references the ones who left these records.

________
The truth within the text
Is like stones in a stream
Ever silent, they sit at the bottom
As pebbles and sand are washed away by the current
For this reason, we know
Somewhere in the world, at some point in time
The great maw of war consumed all
If one were to ask what started this war
The answer would be greed
The greed of few wrought disaster for all
A person once described what they saw
In an instant
A draconic totem arose
Bringing with it a storm that obscured the skies
And then, in the Land of Steel
A messenger descended
On a mission from a mountain far away
He galloped down like thunder
Without need of a bow
Ten-thousand arrows appeared in the blink of an eye
Piercing the endless plains below
Killing everything in sight
In the tragic aftermath of the battle
The dark clouds seemed to blanket the earth
The messenger declared that there would be no survivors of this war
But a crow found the survivors
And they escaped before the mists cleared
They took one hundred boats
Each person carrying ten grains
Each time they crossed an entire mountain, a colossal wall of mud and stone
They lost one boat
They formed groups and roamed the land
Until the scepter became a staff
And then, the shepherd gave the staff to the sailor
And the son of the sailor gave the conch to the prophet
And finally, did the prophet decide
To take the eagle's last tail feather
To take the scorched blood of the pioneers
To take the paper that the dawn had once shined upon
He wrote a request
And tossed it in a well
And after three days and three nights
A stone at the bottom of the well opened its mouth to speak
And the stone did say:
All of you, wait until the snow falls heavy
And buries all beneath it
Wait for the light to save you from the cold
Wait for seven hundred years of warmth to pass
Wait for ten-million fireflies
Wait for the great tower to disappear, and for the lake to appear
Wait for the warriors to travel throughout the world like the tide
Wait for the moon to shine like the sun
Wait for the sun to no longer scorch the earth with its ascent
Then use the hardest stone and the coldest ice to surround the kingdom
And in doing so, finally return to the earth."
