It's strange that I managed to put on some weight even though I've been running all over the place lately. I'm worried that a chubbier body will affect my agility in battles, so I've decided to lose weight. Someone told me that I could lose weight easily by following the personal recipes of the Circus' ringmaster. What a coincidence, because %s happened to invite Ringmaster Jeno over for a meal. Although he looked quite serious, I got up the courage and asked him for his recipes. To my surprise, he agreed to share with me! He also ended up cooking some dishes with his own hands during his visit to thank me and %s for inviting him. It made us both thrilled! Although I have no idea why %s was so happy, considering I was the one who was trying to lose weight.
Anyway, I indeed lost weight after following the Jeno's recipes for several days. But I never want to eat boiled foods without oil, salt, or sugar ever again... The real question is how come %s ended up gaining weight?

His Story (I)
My dear audience, are you saying that... you want to perform a divination for me? There's no need to conceal your desires because I've seen this day coming from the restless Origin Cards.
I'll act like a normal spectator and draw one card from the deck... Huh? Look, this is a Sun card. The Sun... It indeed filled my entire childhood, but it mostly occurred as a word. In that age which has become a bit blurry to me, many people told me to bask in the sun more, but only one person could drag me out of my dusty and humid room that was infested with bugs. None other than Elvis, of course. I'm sure you remember this time; most Harbor City visitors have heard it once or twice. Back then, he wasn't a nobleman of Lumopolis, or the ruler of Harbor City, and he wasn't weak and vulnerable either... To me, he was just an ordinary elder brother figure from next door.

His Story (II)
The second card... Oh? It's the Moon card. It means that I have to confess to you one lie I told. The power of the Origin Cards is watching, forcing me to be level with you...
Elvis was more than an ordinary neighbor, he was the only bridge linking me and this world before I was introduced to magic. We used to run out before daybreak and wait for the sun to rise from the sea horizon and paint the world in colors, and when the tide fell, we would run to the beach and pick up shells and pearls that had been perfectly polished by the sea.
We'd tell each other about our dreams. I wanted to be the best artist creating better colors than the sun and more amazing shapes than the sea, while Elvis wished to open a restaurant that offers nice food from all over the world. Children always believe that their dreams will come true with the same ease with which one greets someone. The laughable thing is that despite all his lofty promises and talk, Elvis and his family disappeared in the most mundane of nights.

His Story (III)
The third card is a Cosmic card. Haha. Looks like this long-winded conversation has to go on.
When I decided to leave Harbor City with my parents, I sold all my notebooks carrying my doodles to a nearby art dealer. God knows why that art dealer could still run his business during the Darkover Crisis like nothing was happening. My parents asked for a few more coins from the art dealer for my notebooks, but I didn't know that they had spent all their savings to buy some long-term tickets for the Emerald just to avoid the tragedy. However, tragedy is the broken wing of a dead butterfly and it could just hit anyone.
I was exposed to magic for the first time when I was on the Emerald. The old captain took out a pigeon from his pocket and a feather fell on my head when it flew. At that moment, it dawned on me that magic was more dazzling than the sun's paints and more delicate than the sea's carving skills. It was simply meant to be.
Ah... No! I don't want to recall that mistake... Fire spread on my palm while the tongues of fire turned into the old captain's crazy roar, "You don't deserve to master magic!"
I ran away from the Emerald like a nervous wreck, and I didn't even get to say goodbye to my parents. I swore that I would return as the "greatest magician."

His Story (IV)
I stood on the street with my burnt hands, performing to any child who was willing to spare a glance at me, until I saw the hemline of a lady's skirt. When I looked up, she passed me a deck of unique-looking cards. I took it with my trembling hands and showed her all the skills I could think of... The cards rose and fell, swirling between my hands like dancers, emitting an inexplicable power... It was a power that could revolutionize magic. "If you want this deck of cards, come with me."
After joining the True Order, I couldn't concentrate on praying like the others. So when I saw the Emerald again many years later, I naturally hopped back onboard... only to find that my parents had long perished from disease. All the wrath in my heart coagulated into flaming arrows targeting the old captain. I sent him a challenge, demanding the Emerald in exchange if he lost. Of course, by then, the old captain had long forgotten about me. He duly accepted the challenge and well, he lost. I would've been so ecstatic, if not for the fact that I knew he'd lost to me on purpose.
See, he'd always known it was me! He'd observed my skills in secret, until I passed his tests and ended up inheriting his circus. Turned out this was his last magic trick. Does this make the old captain the greatest magician?
Nevertheless, I will prove to you that I am an even greater one.
