Spring Elfin

People are always in pursuit of the unknown and attaching some kind of meaning to it.
For instance, the Spring Fay, who can make people's wishes come true, is hidden in wishing springs within unnamed forests.
In a certain forest where the fog never dissipates, there is an old pot from which spring water gushes out endlessly. As fay maidens used to wander around the spring, the legend of "the fay in springs" came about, which subsequently spread to the nearby villages and towns. They all said that you need only throw a coin into the pot and all your hopes and dreams will come true.
The legend might be false, or it might be a slight deviation from reality.
What we know for sure is that not all fay are that competent. At the very least, La Source isn't.

Something Strange

09/07 Cloudy
Nothing serious happened today.
A traveler passed by, supported a coughing old woman all the way. Nothing abnormal. He found 7 gold coins near the exit ... Hmm, need to check more carefully in the next patrol.

11/27 Rainy
A rich man from town came to the forest with his servants to hunt and hurt many animals and plants. Failed to persuade him to stop. They tossed a lot of coins into the wishing pot and said "may the general appreciate me." Tsk!
A storm suddenly struck on their way back, and his expensive furs were all ruined. Haha!

11/28 Cloudy
My leg that those stupid servants hit hurt even worse. Was going to make a wish in the pot, but had no money and gave up. Stood by the pot for a while and took out the coins inside.

11/29 Sunny
My leg's cured for no reason. Looks like the onion soup from last night worked.

Regarding the call for banning
metals from the forest

Pandora Wilson: I would like to ask ...
La Source: Humph! Another one wishing for ... Wait, you are a mouth?! Where have you put the coin?
Pandora Wilson: Ahem—I doubt that spraying water into the mouth of a new guest is a polite thing to do.
La Source: Ugh! Sor ... It's all their fault!
Pandora Wilson: Their, fault?
La Source: Those idiots, they thought they can get what they want for just a few coins!
Pandora Wilson: ...
La Source: I will always "help" them!
Pandora Wilson: I think this is probably not what they wished for. Ahem ... but I sincerely hope to see improvement one day.
